I sure wished if I had cacti with wool or hair on them. :( Maybe I should try the next contest and take a break for this one.

Hi, I am new to this forum. I have a question, can the cactus have a flower as well as hairs or should it be just hairs? Also, does it have to be identified? Thanks :lol:

Hi, welcome.
Would prefer not to see flowers, But if it's really all you have, it's OK. But the emphasis needs to be on the fur/fuzz/wool.

Great pics guys! Here and the contest thread.

I snapped a few pics of this clump of E. lanata, it's cool how the pure white hairs contrast with the darker spines. Reminds me of George, the Yeti from Looney Tunes :)
