Mammillaria boelderliana

Post by adetheproducer »

Does anyone know a supplier for a mammillaria boelderliana? I'm in the UK so EU sellers would be best to avoid sites regs and the resulting costs.

Have you tried Brian Fern at Abbey Brook Cacti at Matlock in Derbyshire. He holds the National Collection of Mammillarias and it's surprising what he has got. He's no spring chicken now and is winding the business down a bit, but he's well worth a try.

Yes I seem to remember I have had seed from them in the past, no problems as UK is still in the EU at the moment they just come normally through the post, but then they do from the USA too.

You could also check the online nurseries and seedsmen on Cactus Mall.

I am positive ADBLPS from France will also provide this in the next seed list. Next one will be published on 25 November. Much lower postage costs than the German seed suppliers, which send seeds as a parcel.

Both ADBLPS and Succulenta have Mammillaria boelderliana on offer (again). See their latest seed list, both updated in the weekend.

Thanks everyone. I was looking for a plant rather than seeds, I'm kinda running out of space in my light box unfortunately. I sent my wife the link for the plant so I'm leaving it to her but i might add a few extra plants to make the delivery cost worth it.

Successfully ordered it. I also ordered a mammillaria tezontl, gymnocalycium ragonesei and a wigginsia sellowii to make up the weight so postage cost are worth it. It's been dispatched so just need to wait for the delivery. Happy days.
