Took a few days to go visit Navajoa, Pedio bradyi, P. paradinei, P. sileri, Sclero sileri and revisit the small Escos of House Rock Valley, etc. this past weekend.
A few samples atached, but the complete photo albums are accessible through these public links (no need for a Facebook):

Great photos Peter. I haven't made it over there yet. Maybe this week if it ever warms up again.

Re: Northern Arizona last weekend
Hey, it was in the 40's last night here in BCC, good luck Dean, hopefully it will warm up soon. Went into the Bradshaws today it was fun, I pretty much was able to drive on most of the roads without 4WD but it was "fun" a couple of times. I did get some good habitat photos of some Opuntia and a few Echinocereus.

No snow here but it is cold. It has been freezing the last few nights. I just put a large group of rooted pads out side in preparation for putting them in the ground so I'm sure they aren't very happy right now. Hopefully, it will warm up soon and turn into a real spring.

Dean hopefully. Most of my Opuntia are awake and either in bloom, with buds, or already bloomed.

Nice pictures. These are the small really hard to find cactus of the high desert right ? Do you cultivate any of them in Phoenix ?
I found Phoenix to be a difficult climate for some cactus, perfect for others.

Re: Northern Arizona last weekend
I cultivate some of them here, but you are correct, it can be a very challenging activity, especially growing the ones that prefer cooler temps or cooler nights over the summer. More tropical cacti and ones that just grow robustly through very hot temps love it.
