Cactus power!

Coincidentally, I was musing over the possibility of photosynthetic power sources on my way home from work on Friday! Curse those scientists, being four steps ahead of me
Fascinating stuff though; I wonder how viable it might end up being as a long-term energy source? 9 micro-watts isn't a lot of power, but with a big field of cacti under full equatorial sunlight, it'd accumulate quite nicely and be pretty self-sustaining!

Sometimes, the world makes more sense when viewed upside-down...
