CactiGuide.com Landmark...

Post by daiv »

I have not been as active on the forum, but I have been very active on the site lately. In the past month, I've been plowing through about 6 months of e-mails and other sources of images that have been piling up.

The site now has over 10,000 images for use in identification and the number is climbing.

and yet people have worried about the size of photos. :) Still cool. I would probably be able to store all 10000 on my harddrive

Well the images are reduced in size for the web so they aren't taking up too much space. I keep a copy of the sized and original images locally in case a backup is needed.

JohnC - don't worry, I can relate!

lol in my case they are backed ups, of the backups on my computer.. and linked, so I dont think that any of the pictures I have ever posted take up a KB of space here. lol
