Finally, some new flowers worth posting
there was so much other succulent action going on during the winter, the cactus get a little neglected

The first to put on a great show were my Echinopsis Hybrids "Mt. Girl"
I grew a large seed batch about 13 years ago, and many were sold, and many seedlings were sowed.
Hence, we have what's called a "Line" of hybrids, called "Mt. Girl"

Here is one of the originals

Absolutely great plants and flowers!

Wow, great show! Especially the sulcorebutias

Quite my opinion, great Show, great Sulcorebutia,

and Echinopsis, Aztekium, Eriosyce, and . . . :)

Wonderful plants in a very diverse collection!

Best regards

Well my favorite plant made it into the Cactus and Succulent Journal
Ariocarpus retusus x fissuatus

presented in Duke Benadom's Superb Succulent Column.

and my Whiteslonea doesn't look to shabby!

He sent me some of the photos he took

I also save pollen in the freezer, for the next flower batch.
I sowed all my previous seed batches, but hope to have more for next Spring.

I tried some crazy crosses with the A. caput-medusa 2 months ago with the only other plants flowering at the time; A. coahuilense and A. Onzuka, and lo and behold... I got seeds !!!
I planted them last week, nothing happened yet, but I will keep you posted on what develops.
