Of course the best Turbi IMO is Turbinicarpus pseudopectinatus

The huge flower buds are just crazy how they just burst out of the tiny center.
I just can't resist taking photos, they may be better than the actual flowers, or not.

Great pics of your cacti, Craig! I'm so glad I was able to view your collection in person last March. By the way -- the cephalium of the Melo matanzanus I got from you is back in growth again.

I'm not sure about the posts above ^, looks like spam

Spring has arrived, and it's a purple party this year.

And I changed my Avatar!!
Why? because the plant pictured in my old avatar died, so that means it's time for a new one. Yea!

This morning's surprise, Echinopsis hybrid

I banked frozen pollen from my other plant that flowered 2 weeks ago.
Here's a demonstration of the application, I keep the little stick in the bottle.
I gathered more pollen from the current one in flower and just mixed it in the same bottle, I can use it on the other plant in case it decides to flower again. I will let you know if it works.

Nice purples C&D. Your strombocactus makes me wish my seedlings would grow faster haha. BTW I don't think Pincho's post is spam, they just got confused about which page they were on. Please keep up the flowers, they get me through our winter months!
Cheers!

You do have some outstanding plants!
I love those huge Ariocarpus spp., the Pelecyphora plants, and of course the Aztekium specimens. Also, your Astrophytum caput-medusae cactus is beautiful. :)
