mid winter

Post by keith »

cactus flowers in Mid Winter this is Mammillaria crucigera a cutting from a large plant i had that went yellow many years ago so I cut off a few of the stem tips to save what I could, it worked. The stems are starting to divide like this species does. Kind of a tough plant to keep going when it gets big.

Half of winter is done? That is cool news for my cool or semi-frozen windowsills. Mammillaria sanchez-mejoradae also has some flower buds.
