Growth Over Time - (6) Notocactus leninghausii

This one is a Notocactus leninghausii. Soft spines that all point to the dirt, except for right on top where they point straight up.

In 2015 it began to look a little bit etiolated ...

... so in 2016 I built a greenhouse (somewhat primitive, but it gets 'em out into the sun & keeps the rain off of them, as well as keepinging them above 40 degrees fahrenheit in the wintertime.

2017
Scroll the pictures back and forth between last year and this year and you can see how much growth it has put on even in the last year. Nothing spectacular really, but succulents are famed for being sloooww growers.
