This is a picture of my new f. Latispinus, witch im very happy with.
Love the red and yellow spines, the spines are flat not round, very special. Its stems coulor is army green.
The plant is quite robust, and looks very strong.
I bougt it at a cacti boutique and it wasnt cheap.
Altoug im on a small budget i bought it anyway.
I looks nice in my tiny collection and there is room for some more...
Greetings alexander.

Yes, it can outlive you easily to reach an age of 150+ years, if the caretaker does not make any crucial mistakes or the plant's faith is not in its way.

They're prettiest when they're young, though - just like humans.

Wow 150* what an age for such a small plant.
And it seems even longer in cultivation...
I bed there are plants out there who reached that age in domesticated life.
Very nice.
My plant is at its beginnings.
I will try to take the best of care, for its future.

Very nice. I have a couple outdoors in pots that don't look that good.

This plant looks like so called F. latispinus ssp. spiralis, a larger form from Oaxaca.

Enjoy it and don't overwater it or force it in any way. As a pot plant it doesn't need to grow big or fast. :)
If your cacti mess in your job just forget about the job.
