Big Horizonthalonius

Post by keith »

I've had this plant for awhile got it in Phoenix AZ and they can take the heat even thrive in it. Much too cool here in CA for them to flower but once a year at most. In Phoenix they would flower like crazy in the summer and bees loved them often falling asleep in the flowers. peak of Summer I wouldn't even go out in the day to check on them or water them just in the am before the sun was up over the horizon and there were the sleeping bees. I did grow them under shade cloth and still do.

A very nice Blue Barrel!
I have 4 smaller ones.
They have pushed flowering buds up.
