Seedlings of Frailea castanea had pushed 5 cm square tubes out.
I repotted them in this morning.
I kept many before but Just 4 of flowering size are remained.

I watered in the morning.
They were in flower in the afternoon.

A grafted 2nd filial "red flowering asterias x hanazono kabuto" was in flower in the morning.

The maximum temperature on today was 28 C'.
It was below average in January.
I took some photos at 5:00 PM. The temperature in the greenhouse was 41 C'.
Sunset on today will be 8:30 PM.

The maxmum temperature of yesterday was 42 C' and today will be 41 C'.
Many asterias were in flower yesterday.

It is too hot in here now.
The maximum temperature of yesterday was 42 C' and today will be 41 C'.
I can go into greenhouses only before 8:00 am and after 8:00 pm.

I especially like this Astrophytum form.
Unfortunately not easy to get in Germany.
I have a few, could be more. . . :wink:
It's a shame you are so far away. . . :)
How about a move to Arizona? I'll go there too!
The climate is ok, the language quite understandable. . . :wink:

Thanks for your comment.
This place is also difficult to collect many things because the import of plant related items is limited.
I got several Fukuryu seeds from my friend but I am not sure how he could get.

I was employed by an Australian company and moved to Australia with my family in 1989.
It was a large move especially for my family members.
I got a job offer by an USA company in 1998 but I declined.

I agree there is a good distance between Germany and Australia.
