A small C&S garden patch in my neighbourhood

Post by Etela »

I only recently got interested into cacti and started out my own collection. Then yesterday while I was taking a walk around my neighborhood, I was delighted to find a small patch of land designated for growing cacti and succulents. It's part of the residents' initiative of growing a garden outside of the high-rise apartments that we live in called HDB flats. It was so easily overlooked before when I didn't have yet the interest in these plants.

So I wanted to share pictures of that little garden here as I'm interested to learn about how well (or badly) these plants are growing. I thought others might be able to learn something about it too. Also, I'd love to find out the identification of these plants if anyone would help out. Sorry about some of the pics taken vertically - I don't think there is an option to rotate the picture, is there?

Pic 1: This is the patch of cacti and succulents. As you can see, it is situated by the entrance of the carpark of the HDB flats.

These Euphorbias definitely feel great there. That is the good thing to live in tropics: when you get tired or bored of you collection you can just plant it somewhere outside.

I think this is better to be done using an editor or app of your computer or phone. Many websites also offer rotating during the upload.
If your cacti mess in your job just forget about the job.
