Need Advise for my Cacti arrangement- I am new

Post by leotheruler »

Hi,

I am a beginner and need help from you guys. I have attached picture of my Cactus and Succulent arrangement that I made today. The pot is roughly 8x4x4 inches.

1) How much water should I give it?

2) I am planning to keep it in doors. Is this a good idea or should I put it outside in the morning exposed to the sun light?

3) Does this need fertilizer like other plants and how and when should I give fertilizer? And how much?

Thanks in advance.

That is a very nice arrangement. I made some for my daughter's wedding but kept the plants in their own pots. All your plants require different light and water requirements. If you left the plants in separate pots, you may have been able to water separately. The cactus need more light than the succulents. Morning light is great for the succulents, but may find the cactus elongating; not getting enough light. I would give them all the morning light you can and have them in a well lit area in the house. 8)
