Cool.
And as the walls come down and as I look in your eyes
My fear begins to fade recalling all of the times
I have died and will die.
It's all right.
I dont mind
I dont mind.

Look´s good, be careful with the sun - 40/100 % is enough. . .
Best wishes

Re: gymnocalycium first bud
Nice plant. Gymnocalycium members produce showy blossoms. I do love my G. baldianum.
What species of Gymnocalycium is your plant? I did have a G. bruchii, but managed to kill it. Those stems were rather small, but the flowers were a lovely light pink.

I've got a few gymnocalycium mihanovichii and they bloomed at once it was pretty, do they need two different flowers to cross pollinate or are they self fertile?

Thank you. The plant was labeled as Gymnocalycium cordobense.

Re: gymnocalycium first bud
Nice one. Judging from the colour, I'd say it is getting the right amount of sun.
I see the name G. cordobense all over, but I don't think it has ever been published. I wonder what it will be lumped into

This might be Gymnocalycium robustum, it looks about that and grows in Cordoba.

See also Gymnocalycium quehlianum in this cactiguide.com.Description: Gymnocalycium robustum, as the name states, is a robust, rugged cactus species characterized by thick ribs and round podaria (tubercles) with few short spines and thick receptacles and fruits. Previously, it was circulated under the name Gymnocalycium cordobensis.
If your cacti mess in your job just forget about the job.
