Good evening Jason,

You have a beautiful plant (and other plants too!), congratulations!
Do you know where the name comes from?
Mammillaria duwei was found by Helmut Rogozinski. He named it after his friend Mr. Duwe.
Rogozinski and Duwe both Cologne, like me. Hr. Duwe passed away five years ago.
I have the great honor :oops: to be able to buy his collection.
The collection is still at Mrs. Duwe, when the time comes, I will bring the collection to me.
And I will build another greenhouse. . . :-k

Very nice! Did you get those from miles? I like the echinocereus in the last pic.

Yes, these are from Miles. That would be Echinocereus triglochidiatus "inermis" (Moah, UT), supposed to be very cold hardy, I'll find out in winter

Yavia cryptocarpa this morning, sadly I don't have anything to pollinate it with, but I tried the cement method:

Yes. I couldn't find any that was on their own roots (though I'm still looking) , also, it's easier this way I believe?

Got my Ariocarpus to bloom today, my first Ario flower!

Hopefully I can get my others to bloom to, though they don't have buds yet.
