The seedling grafts are plumping up nicely and starting to develop their individual characters. Several are forming offsets .

Great looking plants, Tenoch. Congrats, on the Aztekium ritteri, did you start that from seed and then graft it?

Do you grow your plants in a greenhouse?

Hi Mark,
I purchased the Aztekium. It is grafted on myrtillocactus. I do have a small greenhouse.
I'm really excited for the Aztekium, the flower buds are swelling and may open in the next day or so. I will try to get some pictures when they open.

Aztekium ritterii opened it's first bloom yesterday! It sure is a tiny flower. Four more buds yet to open.

Thanks luigonz, I am originally from South Texas and although the climate is more suitable for cacti there I seemed to have similar trouble keeping leaves on Pereskiopsis grafts for more than one year. Colorado has it's own set of challenges though.

Nice. Try to pollinate it, the species is self-fertile and you may end up with a bunch of seeds to test your patience. :D

This is the second flower from this plant. I have attempted to pollinate both, just hoping that it is self fertile. Hope to test my patience with this one 8-[

Love the astro capt medusae graft! I'm determined to get one, and if I may ask where did you get the seeds? We're they from Gerardo?
