Wow! Everything is blooming the same time, all these little beauties.. I would like to have them all, Rebutia's and Sulco's, but seeing photos here is good too.

Hello Arjen,
you have an amazing collection of Weingartia spp. and they do produce beautiful flowers.
Of course, I also love those Echinocereus spp. you are showing. While I do have one plant named E. pulchellus, I do not have the ssp. sharpii.
I also have not seen the E. adustus or E. hempelii in the assortment of the cactus nursery that comes to El Paso, TX every year for the FloraFest.
Your plants all look healthy and are rewarding you with splendid blossoms.

harald, here in europe we are blessed with so much plant material going around.
just recently I was in contact with a collector in the US who has a very hard time acquiring sulcorebutias, due to strict laws they are hard to obtain.
I suppose you of all people would know how difficult it would be to get plant material from Bolivia to the US.
I don't know if the same applies to echinocereus, being partially native, but here I can theoretically get any species I want.
Of course with a restriction on mexican plants because of their export laws.

Hello Arjen,
I second what Maja and Mark said. You do have an amazing collection of Weingartia spp. I have only tried to grow two Rebutia or Parodia sp. plants out in my front yard and killed both of them within a couple of days. When we do have the FloraFest, where cacti are being sold by a cactus and succulent nursery from New Mexico I usually do inspect the plants offered quite closely, but do not recall having ever seen a Weingartia member.

You have a lot of species that us in here in the US can't get, that's for sure.
