My Cactus Collection
I have some new additions to my collection. It is not a huge collection yet as I have limited space. When I move I am sure that my collection will keep growing indefinitely!

- I was graciously given a cutting of this plant by a generous member of this board. Thank you!

Re: My Cactus Collection
Some nice buys there love the arios.
And as the walls come down and as I look in your eyes
My fear begins to fade recalling all of the times
I have died and will die.
It's all right.
I dont mind
I dont mind.
I DONT MIND

Thank you I can't wait until they get big and look like they are about a million years old. I had to have the A. Kotschoubeyanus, it just looks so cute laying flat on the ground like that.

Nice selections, especially your Epithelantha and Arios! Looking at your kotschoubeyanus, I'm tempted to get one of my own. If the species doesn't mind shade during the middle of the day, I may have the perfect spot for a small kotschoubeyanus on the plant bench.

Re: My Cactus Collection
Thanks Steve! I think you should definitely get one. It is one of my favorite plants so far. It's a lovely little plant. I hope I get to see it flower soon. From what I have read, they need quite a bit of light, but the person that I bought it from had it inside of his green house in a shady area before it ended up at the cactus show. Right now mine gets a little shade because of the position of my apartment building, and my fence. I'll let you know how it does in those conditions.

Re: My Cactus Collection
This post is not about my collection really, but I am so excited that I just had to share. I am planning a camping trip in the Devil's river state natural area, and that is cactus country if there ever was one. I will see so many cactus in their natural habitat, unbothered by humans. I wish I could go with a group of cactus enthusiasts, but alas, it is just me. It will still be awesome though.
