Then the scelet was built:
And today polycarbonate was placed on:
Yee-haw!!!
I now only have a few details to finish, like automatic vents and floor heating and such....

Re: My new GH again
looks really nice, and should be able to take on a big layer of snow.
And I reckon the main enemy will not be the good old mealy bug, but in this case the termite?
Well, at least until one runs out of space and you need to build a bigger one!greenknight wrote:Yep, that one ought to last a while.

Looking really good very modern.
And as the walls come down and as I look in your eyes
My fear begins to fade recalling all of the times
I have died and will die.
It's all right.
I dont mind
I dont mind.

That is a beautiful greenhouse, Maja, you will have many happy hours in there. There's lots of diagonal crossbracing to keep the structure rigid. It looks like you chose quality before price.
The only change I would have made is I would have made the roof overhang the walls by a few centimeters to get the rainwater away from the walls. But yes, a super greenhouse that you can be proud of.

Don't ask me. I payed lot over my first intention. But then again, I have no wish to build another one next season.Onzuka wrote:That is a beautiful greenhouse, Maja, you will have many happy hours in there. Well. At one side we have a promenade too narrow to do so. On another side I will place a rain gutter to collect rain water.Onzuka wrote:The only change I would have made is I would have made the roof overhang the walls by a few centimeters to get the rainwater away from the walls.
And thank for your thoughts.

That's a beautiful design, Maja, and looks incredibly sturdy. This is a major step toward your becoming a major cactus-growing expert in all of Slovenia! It's as large as some New York City apartments!
Catch a falling star--but don't try it with a cactus!
