Minime8484's C&S Collection - 2015
All ready for a new year of growing and flowering and new cacti & succulents!
Let's hope we've had the last cold snap here in the valley of the Winter.
My first bloomer of the new year is my dependable Micranthocereus densiflorus - great way to start off the year! Lots of other stuff starting to bud up, but it's slow going so far.
Here's to warmer weather!

Thats a lovely looking plant, the contrast with the spiney stem and flowers is really nice. I have buds appearing here but its a bit early for mine to wake up yet.

I may have to find a way up their if this snow would only stop long enough! Getting another foot tonight or tomorrow...grrrr

My first Cleistocactus bloom of 2015, and one I missed when it bloomed for the first time last year when I was in Guyana!
It's going to be a great Cleisto Year!

You really have all advantages on your side! Beautiful!
Only when the last tree has died, the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realize that we cannot eat money.

Spring is in full swing in my yard! Second species of Cleistocactus for the year:
And, another of my Micranthocereus densiflorus (this one thanks to James!!), just a tad out of sync with my other plant, so no seeds this year.

Spring has definitely sprung here in AZ. Lots of plants in bud, but these are some of the earlier bloomers.

Great pics Tristan. Echinocereus davisii is a faithful bloomer -- even the tiniest plants seem to produce multiple flowers.
