Hi Minime8484
The Micranthocereus densiflorus is a great looking plant. Beautiful flowers.
I've never come across that one in Australia.

Very nice variety of flowers! Gotta love those green tipped flowers on Cleistocactus. You will be happy to know that both of the green tipped varieties of mine are also budding and should flower near the end of the month.

After months of waiting for a reply from my friend about the cactus he had that you've been searching for, I came up on a dead lead

he said he traded it to someone a year ago and they other he's not willing to part with, ahrg!!!!! He did say if he gets seeds or if the guy he traded with gets seeds he'll send some to me for you to try to grow and if he gets any offsets I have first dibs, but I don't kno when that will be. ...ahrg! I was soo excited thinking I found the one cactus you don't have outta the whole cleisto genus lol.... I hate when a lead doesn't fall thru, sorry hun

Those flowers on Arrojadoa dinae and Cleistocactus ferrarii are awesome. There's nothing like them in the plant world! Thanks to James for his generosity and for you for posting these great pictures.
