Nice plants.
One plant you might like is Phyllanthus mirabilis. A very nice caudex that will flip it leaves at dusk and opens them op again when it is light out again. One of my favourites I had sought out for a few years. Was happy I came along it at ELK a year ago.

Hi Aiko,
do you have a picture of that Phylantus mirabilis ?

Not all plants are in this overview yet, I also have a second Pachypodium bispinosum, a second Fockea edulis, Euphorbia horrida var. striata, Euphorbia aeruginosa, Ficus abutilifolia, Pachypodium lamerei,
and a very big Ipomoea bolusiana.

Hi phyllonemus,

Greetings from Amsterdam. Good to see a fellow Dutchmen who is also into caudex plants, just as I am. Maybe we can exchange lists of wants and have-extras sometime. Who knows we can help eachother out, and within the Netherlands it is easy to send whole plants. But maybe we should wait till spring :)
My caudex collection is only 10 plants or so for now, but I know a few good places in Amsterdam to get hold of rare specimens.

And may I say, what a beautiful colour on the petopentia!

Hello Harry
good to know that there is a
collector with the same interests nearby
I'm living in Amersfoort.

To me it's a good idea to exchange information about plants available in Amsterdam next Spring.

What plants do you have ?

Hi Phyllonemus.
True caudiciforms: Jatropha, Adenium, Adenia, Fockea, Dioscorea, Sinningia, Tylecodon. And some of which one could debate it's caudex nature; bowiea, Nolina, Euphorbia, Haemanthus.

I should really introduce myself on this forum with a description of my collection, but to give you an idea; caudex as above, some 20 cacti, about 50-70 other succulents. And then some 100 plants that are not succulents.

Do you collect all Euphorbia, or just caudiciforms?

Hi Harrie,
I am a true Euphorbia fan. I mainly collect Caudiciform Euphorbias and Caudex plants of the Apocynacae family (Pachypodium/Fockea/Raphionacme)

Not earlier mentioned I have also plants from the Nolinaceae family.

Ok. Well, let's wait till spring and see if we can help eachother. Or if you want you can PM me your have-list, who knows I have other euphorbia with offsets that I can root for you over winter.
