Stunning, I think the echinopsis have the most attractive flowers for deffinatee.
And as the walls come down and as I look in your eyes
My fear begins to fade recalling all of the times
I have died and will die.
It's all right.
I dont mind
I dont mind.

To start off, here's a outdoor succulent in flower....
Jovibarba heuffelii

Now, new additions from Miles arrived yesterday! (I do have questions if anyone's willing to help)
4 Opuntia pads in the cardboard, 3 Echinocereus reichenbachiis, 2 Ariocarpi and a Discocactus!

Potted up.... (1:1:1 of pumice, coarse sand and loam/compost? for the plants, perlite and commercial cactus soil for the pads, which are unrooted)

clockwise from top: Echinocereus reichenbachii ssp. perbellus (Potter Co., TX), Discocactus crystallophilus, Ariocarpus kotschoubeyanus v. sladkowski (San Fransico?), Ariocarpus trigonus v. horacekii, Echinocereus reichenbachii (miniature), Echinocereus reichenbachii ssp caespitosus.

Now, some questions to make sure things don't die.
I hear Discocacti are hard to keep alive.....and flower, any tips?
The top dressing on the Discocactus is turquoise, will this mineral cause problems?
The pots on the Ariocarpi are a bit small IMO, but I don't have any slightly larger ones, can I keep part of the taproot sticking out like this?

the ariocarpi look great but may need deeper potting. they need bit deeper pot thats slightly wider then its depth. Mine are all buried so they are flush with the soil level.
