Bruno's C&S 2014
Bruno's C&S 2014
Long time no speak, but, after a few problems that kept me away from plants and friends, I'm just back.
Because the biggest new is that I moved in a new house, well, here it is.
Of course ample space for plants and south facing terraces were the first selection criteria.... Pictures are as of spring 2013, just before installing the new shelves. You can spot my old mammillaria plumosa and an echinocereus rigidissimus var. rubrispinus as markers, all other plants were waiting for a (sunny) place Next two shelves are for plants living outside all year around like opuntia, echinopsis etc... All space is now fully booked Echinomastus were placed first, then all the others... Ciao

Nice set up, good light and easy access.
And as the walls come down and as I look in your eyes
My fear begins to fade recalling all of the times
I have died and will die.
It's all right.
I dont mind
I dont mind.

Bruno, I love all of your plants! You do such a fantastic job growing the real difficult, challenging ones and keeping them looking like they do in habitat. Always a pleasure seeing your photos!

Hello Bruno,
with all the preparatory work that you have invested and the southern orientation you selected, I am sure that your cacti will do as well or better than they did at the old location.
Because most of my cactus plants either do have yellow or pink blossoms, I am more drawn to those with other flower colors. That is, why I do pick the Mammillaria senilis and M. marittima as my favorites thus far. I especially like the contrast between the spine color and the blossom of the M. senilis. Is that flower very large for those produced by Mammilarias or is the plant body (stem) very small?
