Well-kept and healthy-looking plants. I have noticed too, that my Echinocereus rigidissimus ssp. rubispinus plant is stingy with flower production. Year after year it just produces one blossom. However, as Arjen said, the flower is showy nevertheless. :)

Thanks. Because I only had one flower on the ridigissimuss and the E. reichenbachii was blooming at the same time I crossed them with a paint brush. Now the ridigissimus is setting seed. I wonder what it will look like if it is viable ?
