Frailea castanea (syn. asterioides)

Post by jp29 »

One of my favorite miniatures - easy to grow and propagate via seed

growing in 2 3/4" square plastic pot

Flowers only open in hot, full sun
(Flowers need not open to produce fruit/seed)

Image
Large, clean seeds germinate easily

Image
High germination rate - soon develop into plump seedlings

Well developed seedlings in 2 3/4" square plastic pots

2" square plastic pot - ideal for a crowded windowsill
