Great little plants stomatiums. Just like Faucarias. They flower in the late evening into the night.

T Densum now flowering. The flowers seem to take an age to open. Then they open in the afternoon at approx 2pm for only a short period. Really attractive display though.

Lovely! I've been meaning to get a hold of some Trichodiadema's, but I'm short of space so they'll have to wait. :P

I have waited six years for this. Gibbaeums are reticent to say the least. This is my first pair of flowers on any Gibbaeum.
I had said that I would sell these off if they didnt flower this year.

This is flowering for the first time. I have started collecting these geophytics. They are from the west coast of Africa mainly which means that oddly they get thier leaves in winter and after the leaves have departed the flower in summer.
I havent seen this one yet so more photos later.

This is a really cool plant from the west coast of SA. Grows in winter forming a water barrel. In summer it flowers. Like this.

Thats the first time ive seen it flower. Books on them are a bit sparse.
