Not much new blooming lately except the first inflorescences of the year on my Fouquieria diguetii, which almost always waits to flower until the plant is completely bare otherwise. I kinda like that about Fouquieria!

What a difference a month makes!
The most recent inflorescenses on my Fouquieria burragei are now all white at anthesis and the rachi are much paler. Some just starting to develop will be completely devoid of any pinkish color on the buds with an all green rachis for our mid-summer before inflorescences later in the year switch back to being pinkish.

echinopsis flowers are beautiful, was this a night bloomer?

The dark-spined clone of Cleistocactus baumannii started to kick into gear a bit later than usual.

Very nice! How big is the whole plant?
A cactus and succulent collector who especially likes Ariocarpus. …Though I have a bit of everything! Want some pictures? See my flickr! I also do art and such.

Thanks! Longest branch is probably about 3 ft long; overall plant is c. 2ft tall.
