Re: Robb's 2014
That's weird cause i have that on my list, cause i have an ocult or something like that it's purple with small spines Maybe cause the pictures dark i couldn't tell what it was or maybe I'm blind! Lol
Re: Robb's 2014
Thanks for confirming the Copiapoa, Steve. KittieKAT, the plants colour depends on the amount of sun it gets. Mine gets shaded afternoon sun, but it could probably take more.

Re: Robb's 2014
Robb - righteous collection you have going on down there. What is the name of the evil beastly-looking thing in the top right of your first 'setup' group photo? The one that you could hold up a liquor store with, below the Mammillaria deherdtiana photo. That thing is wicked. I must have one.
Re: Robb's 2014
That should be a Tephrocactus articulatus v. papyracanthus, it's spines are sharp, but are too flexible to do any real damage. In my opinion, it is one of the best of the Opuntia tribe. They're pretty common (At least here) so you shouldn't have too much trouble finding one.AaronR wrote:Robb - righteous collection you have going on down there.
