Dear James, You are too kind! I did not deserve. . . 1000 thanks!
My collection of plants is so imperfect. . . But I work hard, maybe it will still be what.

Hello K.W.,
I just finished looking at the last pages of your cactus and succulent post and the sheer number of plants and variety shown is mind boggling!
Without much of an inventory increase you could be running a decent-sized cactus nursery. It is nice to see, that you found a good-sized yard for all the greenhouses that are required to keep your babies alive. :)
If your collection continues to grow though, you will need to move either here to the U.S. Southwest, Mexico, or some other country, where you can plant acres of cacti outdoors.
Well, I do not know, which of your plants I would pick as my favorite, because so many of them are just beautiful. In addition to the gorgeous Pelecyphora spp., Astrophytum spp., Ariocarpus spp., etc. I also liked the photo you took of the Mammillria pectinifera in bloom. What a pretty plant!!

Thank You Harald!!!

A cactus nursery I could never have. I can not any of my "baby's" sell. . .
My greenhouses are on the roof of my company.
I would like to build a big greenhouse on the whole roof. But that's not allowed, building regulations. [-X

If your collection continues to grow though, you will need to move either here to the U.S. Southwest, Mexico, or some other country, where you can plant acres of cacti outdoors.
As you may have read, I was in April in Tucson Az.
It was a wonderful experience for me. I can only thank James repeatedly, he took care of me wonderfully. :D Thank you James!
When I see the cactus nurseries there, I'm terribly jealous. No heating, only ventilation!

I have no favorites, all are equally dear to me.
Maybe apart Sulcorebutia, Mammillaria, Gymnocalycium, Astrophytum, Thelocactus, Echinocereus, Stenocactus, Cleistocactus, Copiapoa, Aztekium, Pelecyphora, Ferocactus, Conophytum Lithops, Ariocarpus, Eriocactus, Weingartia, Notocactus, Acharagma, Strombocactus, Mediolobivia, Lobivia, Aylostera, Leuchtenbergia, Euphorbia, Adromischus, and a few other´s . . .

Or maybe Sulcorebutia, Mammillaria, Gymnocalycium, Astrophytum, Thelocactus, Echinocereus, Stenocactus, Cleistocactus, Copiapoa, Aztekium, Pelecyphora, Ferocactus, Conophytum Lithops, Ariocarpus, Eriocactus, Weingartia, Notocactus, Acharagma, Strombocactus, Mediolobivia, Lobivia, Aylostera, Leuchtenbergia, Euphorbia, Adromischus . . . :)

Good morning dear cacti friends,

today it was time for a bath. The 7th #-o time this year.
Tap water, fertilizer and some acetic acid.

Here is the result - wet beauties. . . :D

But first, a quiz;
to which plant this flower belongs?

I stumbled upon this fantastic, long thread today for the first time. I am only up to the first 10 pages so far … 105 still to go! But this is truly amazing. In my dreams, this is what my greenhouse would look like. Truly superb and inspiring!

Hello K.W.,
I am back again, admiring your huge cactus collection. I am wondering, if you could tell me what two of the images show?
One is picture 93043. It is a Mammillaria and most likely either M. hernandezii or M. theresae.
The other one is a Turbinicarpus with pink flowers, shown in image 93033.
I am starting to add more "Turbis" to my collection and all of them thus far do have white flowers. Adding a pink one would be nice. :)
