Thank You Jonathan!!!

Good morning dear cacti friends,

today Astrophytum sowing! Seedlings in the "Habitat", photos from August 6.

The photo shows the two continents, America and Africa, still united.
81396Image
Left Side America - cacti, right Africa - Euphorbia. :)

Some large Astrophytum stand by me from April to September outdoors.
81399Image
It gets them quite well.

Landscaping must be, the underbrush must be cleared. Around this Astrophytum ornatum was also cleared.
81398Image
Here lies the deforested scrub.

And here are the seedlings. . .
81404Image
This can only be "Mother Nature", if I had sown, that would never have become what.

And now a few flower photos;

Nice flowers and plants!

It seems your collection is at least a few hundred million years old....it would explain the amazing-ness of it though!
A cactus and succulent collector who especially likes Ariocarpus. …Though I have a bit of everything! Want some pictures? See my flickr! I also do art and such.

Good morning dear cacti friends,

today I talk about the weather. . .
On June 28, it was not a nice weather, it was terrible, it rained most of the day.
The plants in the outdoor dining were terribly wet.
BUT that also has its charme . . .

Maybe you want to take a look . . .
If it is too boring, then you come looking again tomorrow - then there are the flowers photos on June 28. :)

Good morning, Jonathan,

very true!
This plant is one of the many offshoots of a parent plant.
This I got as a gift 37 years ago.
At that time I had a student job at the hospital, a colleague gave me a small offshoot of his plant.
Its plants he had saved from his mother, in the second world war on the run from Pomerania.
Nothing special, but a story and history. . .
