What eriosyce is photo 75213? The flowers are amazing.
And as the walls come down and as I look in your eyes
My fear begins to fade recalling all of the times
I have died and will die.
It's all right.
I dont mind
I dont mind.

Looks like your average E. taltalensis ssp. paucicostata to me, just a big one. :) Lovely plant.

Love your thread KW, it's always such a joy to look through. Do you have any pictures of the leaves of the Bulbine from picture 77999?

The rhipsalis pilocarpa confuses me - mine bloomed in January. Looks like yours is getting more sun; maybe I need to try that? Mine bloomed but not as profuse as the one in your photos. Do you fertilize it a lot? Sue

Good morning Sue,

I fertilize and water every day!
No, no, no. . . :)

The plant is treated as my cacti. Little fertilizer at every watering.
During the winter she spent in the greenhouse, at 100% sun / light.
In April, I have brought it into the outdoor-dining.
Full sun from 10 am to 16 pm. She had a few flowers in the January / February in the greenhouse, but in June a whole bunch.
I think the fresh air plays a major role.

Regards

K.W.

#-o , a little water in winter - every 2 - 3 weeks. I forgott. . .

Good morning dear cacti friends,

today some photos from the 16th of July, so today.
It was a Astrophytum day.
After eight cool rainy days, yesterday and today, sunny weather.
Already flower Astrophytum. . . :D

This is now for some of you quite a nervous strain, only yellow flowers. :)
But it was also a Lophophora day. . .

Oh my days at those Astrophytum's

=^~^= * foams at mouth *

You are blessed indeed to have so so many Astro's flowering all at once. It's just astounding.

.

And those Lophophora's are quite impressive in their own right. As I said before , don't think i have ever seen plants so big. Great to see what they look like at an older age.

That woolly Loph in the right of 78902.... Has it bloomed before? It seems to have a new offset though!
Very nice, once again!
A cactus and succulent collector who especially likes Ariocarpus. …Though I have a bit of everything! Want some pictures? See my flickr! I also do art and such.
