Thanks Eutow_Intermedium! Yes the plants are outside in the ground. There is still tons of space so I need to get more plants!

The three flowering plants are Echinocactus horizonthalonius. They smell great!

Thanks Gemhunter!

Hey Hendry, I normally don't water my plants. Maybe only in the spring and then I let nature do the rest. I try to grow them as if they were in the wild.

A Stapelia something getting ready. I think it may need water. I also had a Hoodia Gordonii open some buds. I need to find the pics.

Promising buds on Stapelia, Mark
Curious to see the flowers when they bloom... :)

For adenium, is the growing point dead as I see some offsets come out from the stem?

Cheers

Hey Hendry, I'm not to sure what happened with the adenium. The root/ caudex is firm and I repotted it a couple of weeks ago and saw new roots. It's weird cause the stem is bent in a way. And there was a small stem coming but it died back. I'll try to get a better picture so you can see what I mean.

It should be OK Mark if you saw new roots, maybe it bent after you repotted it as I believe you didnt water it for sometime. Now you have some branches adenium instead of tower adenium. 8)

Happy growing

Beautiful Horizonthalonius flowers,so bright!
When thousands of foes unite, for my ruins plot–
If only You remain by my side, I then fear not!
I live for a hoped union with thee, it is my desired prize–
Or all my moments are spent- in the fright of demise!

Do you think ferocactus wislizeni is self-fertle or not?Have been wondering about this.
