Nice collection!
A cactus and succulent collector who especially likes Ariocarpus. …Though I have a bit of everything! Want some pictures? See my flickr! I also do art and such.

With apologies to the late Professor C. D. Darlington the following misquotation springs to

Lovely photos and great plants. A very well maintained greenhouse.
Cactus enthusiast on and off since boyhood. I have a modest collection of cacti & succulents.

Beautiful! Always very impressed by Northern European growers! Takes a lot of patience.
Love the Larryleachia, hadn't seen a photo of that before.

I'll "borrow" Maja's emoticon & comment!
Once bitten by the cactus collecting/growing bug, there is no known cure!
There's no 12 step programme for Cactaholics...so I shall just have to get some more!!

Re: My Greenhouse and collection
Thanks all.
It starts to get near freezing in December, and an ungoing chance of light freezing until mid March. After that the light intensity goes up a bit, and temperatures go up from April onwards during the day, but the nights still remain quite cold (not that high above freezing, sometimes). But April is the time that I keep a small window in my greenhouse open all through the day, up until November or December, usually. So all my plants get a lot of fresh but cold air during the nights*.
In summer the temperature usually do not exceed 25C / 77F, most days around 18-22C / 65-70F.
*That's the benefit for mesemb growers in the colder regions. Growers in warmer regions might have the winter sun light intensity to suit their winter active mesembs in autumn, but mostly lack the cold air on their part?
Moderate (thanks to the Northsea), both in winter and summer. It hardly goes to 30C / 85F in summer, and in winter rarely near -10C / 15F.C And D wrote: What are the temperatures where you live?
