This is a genus usually a little cultivated in Italy but for me they are very interesting plants resistant to low temperatures.
In winter cultivate these plants in a cool greenhouse where the temperature can drop to 12 ° C below zero

Lovely little plants! :) I like Esco's as well, but I think they're a bit underrated really. It's a great genus with some lovely plants included within it!

Obviously you have many of them. I don't have any escobaria. But I will look at yours here more times.

One of my favorite genera. Bruno started a great Escobaria thread here:

http://www.cactiguide.com/forum/viewtop ... =Escobaria" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Below are pics of the Escos I am currently growing here in hot Phoenix, AZ. It is not their favorite climate. They have a very short burst growing season here and spend a long time dormant. Many pics are of seedlings ranging from 2 to 4 years old. I am ordering several more from Mesa Garden soon.

Hello Maja has little grown a genre I hope that the passion for Escobaria may increase :)

I know Bruno and his Escobaria is he who has increased my passion for these Cactaceae
Your plants are beautiful and very well cultivated =D>
