Maja - Your unnamed Opuntia looks like my O. fragilis. Should be some other Opuntia "experts" to verify!
Peter
Once bitten by the cactus collecting/growing bug, there is no known cure!
There's no 12 step programme for Cactaholics...so I shall just have to get some more!!

Yes Peter, thank you, I believe it is. Some friend of mine already confirmed it.

Thank you Marco. I'm working on that rock garden since last autumn. I felt sorry for cacti, so i waited since this spring. And even now it's not something of the weather. But now cacti are doing good in there. When I'll come from hollydays I hope will finish it with some rocks from seaside.

Be careful with the rocks of the seaside, you must completely remove the salt that is harmful to plants :wink:

My mother-in-law's Astrophytum asterias. Since I brought it home in march it flowers for second time. And both times it has two flowers.

Hello Maja beautiful plant but I can not see, the ribs are flat or have a ridge that flows through the center, where there are buttons of flowers?
If it have the ridges may be a hybrid and the flowers of hybrids are beautiful I see that the flowers of this plant have a very red throat =D>

I think the cactiguy said this one is A.asterias. I have another one with no spots on it, otherwise is the same. That one is hybrid.

First "casualties" of new GH. Those two had buds since I got them. Nothing happend. Now after a few days in GH (less than a week) both of them got flowers. If you need introduction;

Astrophytum capricorne var. crassispinum nudum
