lobivia flowers are stunning without exception, I really love the look of your thelocephalas too!

I like these little opuntoids because of their unusual flowers

yes this clumping type of E. esmeraldana does have an unusual flower and it seems to be reproducble in other plants of this proveniance too.

My other flowering esmeraldana looks quite different from that one. (pics from last year)

Very nice and interesting looking plants! I especially like the coloring of the flowers on the last one! =D>

Jens, I never tire looking at the wide array of types you have and am so impressed that you have the knack (and knowledge) for making them all bloom.
Catch a falling star--but don't try it with a cactus!

you would hardly expect those esmeraldanas to be the same species
that nigristomata looks breathtaking!

Hi Ralf it´s nice to hear that the Pterocactus cuttings are growing well. Some kuntzei /tuberosus will start to flower quite early.
