The predominating color on these hot summer days is yellow.

Nice yellow flowers! (That second one also has some pink.) Nice plants too! =D>
A cactus and succulent collector who especially likes Ariocarpus. …Though I have a bit of everything! Want some pictures? See my flickr! I also do art and such.

the flower on that noto isn't much compared to those spines, but wow, what a beautiful plant!

I've the same Notocactus (Brasilicactus) but it flowered not again after I've bought it. Something is wrong in my cultivation.
Have you got some hints for me for its cultivation.

As to cultivation : I´ve had the N. graessneri for 4 years now and it flowers for the first time now. I keep all the Notocacti in half shade and they get watered regularly in summer . The potting ground contains a bout 1/3 of standard cacti mix with peat.- So nothing really special I guess...??
