Re: J-Cacti 2012
Thanks Hendry, the flowers on T. pseudopectinatus usually last only 2 to maximum 3 days. But they flower pretty reliably every springtime (at least here in old Europe) once they got going.

Flowers last a bit longer for me. It helps that they flower when it is still cool in spring.

Gorgeous!
Re: J-Cacti 2012
Flowering time here usually is a little later in spring than in other places in Central Europe, mainly because the sea still keeps the wearther coooler in spring and I stick with the bubble wrap inside the GH for quite along time . And so the Turbinicarpus bring out the flowers when the sun is higher too.
Here are some summer flowers of the last days:

Re: J-Cacti 2012
It was quite hot these days and two Thelocephala flowers popped up - was it because of or inspite of the heat-I don´t know. But flowers usually last a little shorter in the heat.

Really beautiful, Jens!
The same heat is here. The flowers melt like ice in the sun.

Only when the last tree has died, the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realize that we cannot eat money.

Thanks guys!
Gymnocalycium makes my day when most Eriosyce flowers are gone already.
But some new cacti I got are especially interesting to watch for me too
