J-Cacti 2012
Re: J-Cacti 2012
Thanks Darryl and Arjen.
I think it is clear now that the labels on two of my newer aquised Thelocephala have been switched.
This Eriosyce napina ssp. pajonalensis And this is Eriosyce napina ssp. llanensis

Re: J-Cacti 2012
LUV all your flowering cacti Jens, especially the Turbinicarpus pseudopectinatus! I have never seen one like that (I buy all my cacti at Lowes) and want to know if you sell them since it looks like you have them all in a lovely greenhouse?

Thanks Arjen and Cynthia.
Cynthia, I´m just a private person not sellling cati on a regular basis. I would rather checkout some Us cacti dealers like Mesa Garden to save shipping cost too. I don´t know if there are strict regulation for US citizens buying cacti in Mexico?
Here are a few more flowers of the day with a little passanger

Nice looking flowers! ....and we can't forget the spines on these (they're quite unique)!
A cactus and succulent collector who especially likes Ariocarpus. …Though I have a bit of everything! Want some pictures? See my flickr! I also do art and such.

Yeah, nice, big, flower you have there! It's more showy than most I see!

Thanks guys, it´s all relative isn´t it?
Here is a relatively small flower And a relatively big one of the same species

All of the flowers are beautiful, but the Puna flowers seem particularly delicate and feminine to me. Mine have never bloomed, and I really wish they would!

Re: J-Cacti 2012
Thanks Harriet. I do really like them too. In fact these two plants are both flowering for the first time this year. I tried to keep them bone dry until they put out the buds in early summer - well it worked for me once this year thats all I can say to that but maybe you could try it too next growing season ?
This one on the other hand is putting out flowers every once in a while. I am tempted to degraft it some time to come?!..
