hehe well, I am drawn to spines too, that is why I put up with spines and glochids so much, because they are neat to look at. Sometimes the spinier the plant the better :)
And don't get me wrong, because flowers are beautiful, but I enjoy spines more :)

Well, it is officially the end of the season here when a). Ariocarpus kotschoubeyanus flowers and b). the CDR and other dry winter plants go in the dry shed for the "winter."

Am thinking about starting to move some of my more sensitive cacti inside. It's getting down into the 40s now every night. A few aren't looking like they are actively growing so it might be time to bring them inside. :)
