Dear Arjen, should I have a spare cuttings someday, I shall send one to you:D
I would love to pay postage myself but see this little thing growing to that reach. I feel it is however rather difficult for me.
I just killed a graft, how many chances do you see for this to survive? That' s perhaps why it is so rare....
ciao :)

Hey Bruno. It snowed for a few minutes today in Arizona. Your plants look great. Maybe I shouldn't be such a wuss and put my plants outside in the winter time. Your plants look great :)
Here's to you, all you insidious creatures of green..er I mean cacti.

you killed a graft? what was it grafted on? or did you mean a cutting? it does have the reputation of being difficult, we'll see...
no matter the outcome, I think it's very kind of you to agree to send it if you have it, the postage will be taken care of, no problem! mille grazie!

Hi Peter, thank you for your reply :)
Hi Arjen, it was grafted on a thrico stock, it definitely needed a professional cactus killer to pass by....

Beautiful Bruno!
The spination of the last is quite similar to M. duwei.
Could be a hybrid of them.

However hybrid or not it looks beautiful. At any rate you create a new species. Who knows maybe everyone wants to own one of it in a few years.
Great shots as always, Bruno. It seems that the snow wasn't dangerous for your plants.

What a lovely show. You must be really pleased after all the snow. Mine haven't started yet, but they are starting to bud. Can't expect miracles yet at this height. [-X Spring has definitely sprung though so should have some flowers in the not too distant future. \:D/
