The Cintia has two more buds on it so I should get a non-drowned picture in a few weeks.

Beautiful as always Tim. The one you call E. micromeris is unguispinus I think. Anyway, man, just amazing stuff. Wasn't it just a few years ago you had like three plants? :-)

Thanks for the kind comments all! I really enjoy sharing my plants here.

LOL @ peterb. I started collecting cactus in earnest around 2006, so it's been six years! I've been trying to whittle down the collection ever since, it seems!

I prepared a plant for shipping today and found a volunteer seedling of some sort. So it wound up as a draw! One plant sent away and a new plant just getting started.

Beautiful flowers and shots as always, Tim!
I've some names for your stunning plants if you want and accept.

Image
This one seems to be Echinocereus knippelianus ssp. kruegeri. Its flowers arising from the apex and have 3-4 thin, curly spines.

These two beauties
Image

are probably Mammillaria parkinsonii. To compare have a look at Mammillaria.net. The apperance seems more like M. parkinsonii than Mammillaria pettersonii.
However they are really beautiful.

Thanks, Ralf! I knew it was Mammillaria p-something! :D

And thanks to everyone else for your kind comments. Glad you are enjoying the pics as much as I enjoy taking them.

I'm really happy about the P. strobiliformis. I just wish I could keep a P. asseliformis alive!

I would have assumed the Mammillaria hybrid was heyderi. Anyway, looks a lot like those near the Pima-Cochise County line.
