Thanks Peter and Tony!
Tony, I'll look around to see if I have any of the Echinomastus johnsonii seeds left from '09. I had two mature plants that made seed, but one died, unfortunately.
I'm interested to see when these two start to flower. I had four from the '09 crop, I'm keeping two and sold one last week. The fourth one is on ebay right now.
These have been very vigorous from the start. They are handsome little plants! The pots they are in are 2" square on the top.

Really beautiful, Tim!
That's Mammillaria humboldtii really a nice one. I don't have had luck with this species.

Tim, get any rain/wind down in your neck of the woods? Where did you move too?
We got a lot of rain/wind. I brought in all of my plants. I didn't want to have to repot ALL of them since they would have been blown away. Winds were at around 50-60 last night..

Thanks everyone! I appreciate your comments. @Ralf - M. humboldtii makes sense. It does look like some of mine. I have issues with them too. The little guy pictured is doing well so far. It was pretty small when I got it.
@peterthecactusguy - yep, we got lots of rain and some wind. I think I got about 4" of rain in the last two days. I don't have my weather station set up, so that's just a guess based on the water in some containers that were laying around. Oh, the new place is in Cave Creek proper, on the side of Black Mountain behind Harold's Corral. Stop by next time you are in the area.

Tim,
I will give you a call next time I am that way.. I have been around there before, one of my Ex's friends lived over there somewhere
(edit) Last time I got the weather channel's radar to work it seemed like 2 inches was common North/East of Phx.. we got lots of rain here too...
