Nice show! Is the first one your avatar picture?
A cactus and succulent collector who especially likes Ariocarpus. …Though I have a bit of everything! Want some pictures? See my flickr! I also do art and such.
Re: Strukto 2012

Beautiful plants and pics, Arjen!
Only when the last tree has died, the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realize that we cannot eat money.

Re: Strukto 2012
Nice horstii Arjen, mine has not flowered yet.
Re: Strukto 2012
it hasn't? it's a beautiful sight when it does, but I bet you already know that got many buds?
as a matter of fact I was given another one a few days ago, supposedly with a white flower, it is however very small so I'll have to wait a few years to be sure...
some new plants that were given to me by a fellow collector (including the white flowered g. horstii): https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set ... 582&type=1" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
some flowers of today:
lobivia arachnacantha var. brevispina lobivia pugionacantha var. salitrensis JK418 weingartia (sulcorebutia) arenacaea

Re: Strukto 2012
Amazing stuff, I'm just barely taking my first stumbling steps into Weingartia. That weingartia callichroma var. longispina is odd and wonderful. How big is that flower on Echinocereus subinermis? It looks like it could be 6" across!
Re: Strukto 2012
thanks dean! I recommend getting more weingartia they are beautiful and mostly easy to grow!
I don't know how big that flower is, I'll see if it's still open today so I can measure it and let you know

Re: Strukto 2012
Is it just me, or does Weingartia callichroma var. longispina have some resemblance to sulcorebutia? (I know about the recent lumping in Mosti & Papini (2011), just noticing superficial similarity in how this plant strikes me.)
