This is such a beautiful plant in my IMO.
I'm so frustrated that I can't get a good shot of it, but what can I expect using a camera phone.
The central spines are just stunning, and so are the radials.I also love the wrinkly dark green stem. I hope it flowers this year because I hear the flowers are beautiful too, so time will tell. :)

Those fluffy white tufts at the top should be the start of new buds. You heard right, the flowers are awesome!
