Thanks, StrUktO!
I got this as a mature plant, so I don't know how old the plant is.

More new flowers for me today - a couple more!

First, a Thelocactus that I posted in the Cactus ID Forum that hasn't had a consensus yet: either Thelocactus rinconensis or Thelocactus tulensis. Either way, lovely flowers!

Also my first flowers from Sclerocactus uncinatus var. wrightii opened completely today (wasn't hot enough the last couple of days); love the deep colors of these flowers!

the growth habit is a bit similar to that of t. krainzianus ssp. minimus, I like this flower colour better though!

they look almost alien, don't they! so strange to see an open flower that isn't actually open, great colours too!

Flowering kicking into high gear here in the valley. Did some gardening today (planting some new goodies) and went around taking photos of the bloomers. Here they are for today:

Gasteraloe "Helen Headlei" - didn't bloom last year I'm assuming because of the ultra-cold winter we had; now making up for lost time. :D

Just starting the Echinocereus Show here.

First, my reliable Echinocereus engelmannii just kicking into gear.

And my Echinocereus (polycanthus) pacificus first opened its flower 1/2 way yesterday, so I waited for today's (continued) sunny and warm weather, but despite even that, this is as far as it opened today too. Strange. Still, it is a beautiful orange color.

Fantastic stuff! Love seeing that Arrojadoa and the pacificus. That's a Baja plant I have yet to see in habitat. Have to go way up into the mountains for it.
