Well Gem the problem is that I had around 4 other cacti in flower, and I was never able to see their flowers fully open, the best one was this one here...

Yes it is another gymno, i love gymnos :P!!

But yeah the other ones didn't open that much.. this as been just a terrible summer, right now it's actually raining outside and it will rain again tomorrow, and maybe even Monday :(

Indeed it is StrUktO , in fact they all are a bit thirsty, i have been very careful with watering due to the wacky weather we have been having..i mean these last few days we had temps around 30, 32ºC, and tomorrow it's just going to drop to 21ºC, and there is rain once again in the horizon... :S

But they are still bent on flowering specially the pink one i posted before this one, that's is fourth flower, and it is setting up three more, it's on a roll!! :P

I noticed you have a sundew plant in one of the pictures. are your interests in exotic plants moving you to carnivorous plants as well as cacti and succulents? I say this because as well as my collection of cacti I also have acquired a Venus flytrap and a pitcher plant! 8-[

Thank you for the comments guys!!

Yes Daniel i also have carnivorous plants!! I started with cacti and i moved to carnivorous plants after that...

I have several kinds but lately i have been moving more to pitcher plants, mostly sarracenia, they have grown on me :) !!

I really like them but i love my cacti even more :D

Maybe ill post a few pictures of them in another section of the forum :)
