Thanks guys!

Yes indeed a lot plants show more flowers than in the past years.
There are also many first timers and plants they didn't flower for a long time show its flowers again.
I'm wonder what's the reason of that.

Some more pics a couple days ago.

Love the shades of purple on both Mamms. I can't get over either the size of the bloom on the G. gibbosum or the thick, long, sharp spines. As always, Ralf, your photography is top-notch!

Awesome pictures! How big is that Mamm. spinnosima ssp. pilcayensis? I got one the other day but he's tiny. However I do have a thing for mamms. :D
Love all the pics,

Thanks, folks!
Sorry for my late response. :-(

George, the pilcayensis is about 15 cm (5.9 inch) high. The plant is grown from seed, sown in 2002.
The first flowers appear after ~ 5 years.

Some more pictures from May and June.

Such an incredible display! It simply continues month after month. I wish I could pick a favorite--or even three or four. I can't--I love them all!

Ralf, if you don't mind me asking, what do you use for a background for your photos? Is it just a gray background some distance away?

Sorry graffiti for my late response of your question.
Actually it is an white background. It only appears gray because it shaded itself.
The plants which I photograph are some inches in front of the background.

I've still some pictures of the past season.
